- 1. My browser was set to Google.com, I manually re-set my home page
- 2. I do not believe I can alter the font size or graphic of the page

Searching the Web: The Answers
- 4. I recieved 226,000,000 search results in 0.51 seconds
- 5. No, the search results vaired throughout different search engines
- 6. IAfter visiting other sites, Google only retrieved 8,330 results in 0.32 seconds when using quotations marks
Using Metasearch Sites: The Answers
- 7.the main difference is how the results look, Google is very user firnedly and pretty, while Dogpile is just a list of possible reults. I could not see a display of the count of search results generated.
- 8. Mamma has the same visual appeal as Dogpile, however my results were mostly .edu sources and other university's class pages.'
Finding Mulitmedia Elements: The Answers
- 9. I used Google.com as my search engine
- a. Yes, I could toggle over the 'Images' or 'Videos' within the search results and they were listed on another page.
- b. I searched for Adele- Hello and there were 25,400,000 search results with no displayed disclaimer, just linkes to publically assessible videos.
If I would have to create my own website, I would use iPage
- I picked iPage for its low monthly cost of $2.25 per month.
- Also, iPage was ranked high on numerous blogs for website hosting and also has the capabilties to help my build out, design, and manage a secure website.
- another reason I liked iPage, is becuase cell phones and tablets are being used to access the Internet, iPage helps create webpages that are friendly to mobile devices, as well as computers.
