Presentation of IC Summaries

The Task

Each student will present a PowerPoint version of their IC2 Summary in class near the end of the semester. IC2 is due Week 12, and some of you will present Week 12 and some Week 13. We will assign these during class.

These presentations should be no more than 8-10 minutes in length, and use no more than 8-10 slides (limit it to 6 if you can). Do NOT attempt to cover every topic in your chapter. Filter the material from your IC2 summary and just hit the highlights.

The guidelines:
·        You do not need to send me an electronic version of your PPT file
·        After your presentation, you must post your PPT presentation on your web site
·        Please bring 14 copies of your slides (for the class)

• You can print 6 slides to a page by selecting: Print, then ‘Handouts’ (not the default ‘Slides’ under ‘Print What’). You should also select ‘Pure Black & White’

·        PPT slides should use relatively large type sizes

• Slide Titles: 36 or 40 Type Size
• Slide Bullet Points: 24, 28, 32 Type Size (nothing smaller)
• No paragraphs or lengthy text

·        This is practice for improving your ability to do pesentations. You cannot use notes and should not “read” your presentation. Use the bullet points to prompt you, and know your material well enough so the bullet points are enough.
·        this assignment is worth 50 points total
