With the world and me especially being so visual it is a surprise to me that these types of interactive texts are still being created. But compared to current computer games this game still creates a brain teaser. Current computer games like World of Warcraft and the crazy world of Sims cause your brain to fix the problems or achieve a level.
Landow esplains that hypertext fiction has five important similarities: (Landow,250)

  1. The player has action.
  2. Games rely on branching structure and decision points.
  3. Meant to be performed
  4. Meant to be performed multiple times.
  5. The record of a game player’s actions.

These few points made by Landow illustrate how interactive fiction and hypertext will continue to be created, because we all want action, we all want to decide what gets performed and we want to be able to remember what happened. Anchorhead does just the same, although it may take some creative vocabulary and more typing the story and description are there to paint a vivid picture of a mystery and horror.
