“Firefly” by Deena Larsen is full of possibilities. That is one of the reasons why I chose this hypertext. Larsen as an author allows the mind to wander into the possibilities right from the beginning. When you enter the site there are a plethora of links and possibilities that are available to you as the user. You can enter the text right away, or you can look at her works from her biography information.

Clicking on the text allows the user to begin the journey of possibilities through the left hand screen. This screen does require Flash 5 or higher, having this type of plug-in allows the site to run smoothly and the user not to become frustrated with the site not working. When you click on the title “Firefly” a stanza of lines appears on the screen. The user then can click on any line and it will change to create a new possibility. Each line does this! Imagine the possibilities. The user is a kid in a candy shop, with how many possibilities of poems and imagery Larsen gives.
