- Working on implementing SIFT - Scale Invariant Feature Transforms, an image feature extraction algorithm developed by Dr. David Lowe, UBC, Canada.
Download David Lowe's IJCV paper(2004), which explains the algorithm in detail. The paper also
defines values for various parameters found emperically, which can be of great help in implementing the algorithm.
- At a later stage, to use this information and map stereo images, for SLAM(Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping).
