[ When I had a subscription of broadband service under my name, I hosted websites as described here. Now I am away from home and the information here is obsolete. ]

As a member of GMU, we are given certain web spaces; however, we are restricted to have STATIC pages only. It means we are ought to borrow COUNTER or BBS from somewhere else. In addition, due to the small quota, you may already have your website hosted on one of the free web spaces with ads.

We host web pages for Japanese who are related with GMU in any way, for free of charge. You will have a plenty disk space, and your site is ad-free. If you are new to the web, we are willing to teach from ABC. Experienced users can take advantage of CGI, SSI, multi-media support and more, but NO illegal file sharing is allowed.

The only problem is that the server is not equipped with an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and the server dies when the power to the building is out. Also we have no control over the downtime of the network service provider.

OS and HTTPd info are not disclosed. Though, you may find them with ease, please try not to attack the server...
