Interactive Fiction

I did my hypertexts critique #2 on "Colossal Cave" which is an interactive fiction. Interactive Fiction (IF) is basically a story that is told on the computer/online that has the guidance and help of the viewer/reader. Sometimes there are commands or a section on the site that you can type in commands which can lead the viewer/reader to all sorts of different areas of the story. The view/reader had total control over where exactly the story's direction is going and what takes place. Fiction is imaginative narration, short stories, novels, something made-up, basically a story that is not real/fiction. Literature is the "body of written works of a language, period, or culture, creative writing." (source) I guess what most people are ware adn use to is literature that is not interaction fiction. People are familiar with literature in printed of physical form (books, magazines, journals, articles, etc.)
