  • Responsible for developing product marketing strategies and tactics, including build or buy recommendations, for a niche technology firm.
  • Manage and supervise a staff of 5 Product Managers with a budget of $500,000.
  • Launch and manage a new suite of software products aimed at assisting faculty at institutions of higher education in integrating technology into instruction.
  • Negotiate with new business partners to provide value-added products to generate a continuous revenue stream.
  • Conduct site visits, cold calls, trade show contacts to learn what software challenges and ideas that clients and/or prospects have that are not being solved by their own resources.
  • Develop compelling business cases for new product and/or services opportunities for Datatel.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to support corporate strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Present conference papers to precondition the market to view Datatel products and services favorably versus competition

  • Designed and developed marketing programs for small and medium-sized businesses in the Benelux. Activities included direct mail campaigns, market research surveys, telemarketing programs and event organization
