Technology has a real impact on Management. Technology can help managers achieve their business’ objectives. For example, with the creation of intranets, businesses create interactive communication about data, which are numerical or verbal descriptions related to statistics or other items that have not been analyzed or summarized, and make the management information system (MIS) available for employees. The MIS is used for organizing and transmitting data into information that can be used for decision-making. So information can be delivered through e-mail or through sophisticated communications software. The MIS makes the information available around the world very fast and with the use of wireless communications, the system can be carried everywhere. That makes the wireless devices such as notebooks, cell phones, pagers really helpful. The development of intranets and information systems (any telecommunications and/or computer related equipment that is used in the acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, display, transmission, or reception of data, and includes software, and hardware) saves money and time because paper is eliminated and data becomes available on an almost instantaneous basis. It facilitates communication and collaboration between members of an organization. Different individuals can work simultaneously on a shared project by using networked computers. Managers also use networking to build relationships with customers, manufacturers.
