Welcome to the Electronic Materials Group at George Mason University. We are a truly diverse group having colloborators from nearby government laboratories such as National Instititute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The current research activites of our group are as follows:

  • Ultra-fast microwave processing of ion-implanted SiC and GaN
  • Microwave-assisted SiC nanowire growth / SiCFET fabrication
  • Fabrication of CdAgTe/Si infrared focal plane arrays
