EDSE 600 Workshop in Education George Mason University Spring 2002

My initiation to George Mason University was EDSE 600 Introduction to Assistive Technology.   My mind was boggled with all the possibilities that Assistive Technology can bring to people with disabilities.  We explored a CD called the Gate which emphasized the tremendous availability and variety of technology as solution for so many people with disabilities.   http://orcca.stores.yahoo.net/gate.html This course opened a whole new world of possibilities to me. 

To share my new information I created a Power Point Presentation to introduce colleagues, students, and parents to the options available with assistive technology. I used it in my school, in my district, and with graduate students.  It was an exciting beginning to what was to become my new life.
