The Blue Ridge Brawl --- April 26, 2009
My very first professional bass event attendance! What fun! Smith Mountain Lake is always fun, but this was a real treat. The day was even more special as a new member of the family was brought into the world too! I thought I'd share the bass tournament with everyone as I have posted some instructional work on fishing.
We didn't really take the time to watch the fishermen. It's one of those type of sports where you can't get very close because you can be a distraction. It's a lot like golf in that way, except you're on water with much more dangerous equiptment and the "ball" doesn't sit still... fish move around and get spooked. So you can imagine how angry an angler would be if you just spooked a $100,000 fish.
