About Me

My name is Stacy Brewer, nice to meet you! I work with a great company called Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers. C&PC was recently recognized by the Washington Business Journal as the third top company to work for in the DC area. WOW! I work out of the Maryland leasing office supporting the leasing team in their quest to expand commercial real estate in and
around Maryland. Before joining Cassidy & Pinkard I worked with a large non-profit organization called the National Student Clearinghouse. I worked in the marketing department where we handled all public relations, marketing, and advertising in house. Working here provided me with an environment to grow creatively.

I worked my way through college; I was a full scholarship athlete and also worked part time for a clothing manufacturer. I had the opportunity to learn the ropes of operating a business which serves as the foundation
for pursuing my dream, entrepreneurship. Understanding how valuable an education is, I am currently working toward earning a my Masters in Instructional Design from George Mason University. I graduated early from Radford University with a degree in Communication, with a concentration in Public Relations. I am always looking to learn and try new things, I am a native Spanish speaker and I have pursued lessons in French. I have also taken the time to develop my web design skills with specific training classes. My peers would describe me as a highly motivated and resourceful individual with a passion for contributing creativity to my profession.

Goals

I come from a long line of entrepreneurs. My father has never worked for anyone else since the age of 20. My brothers, cousins uncles and aunts have all followed the same path to independence and self dependence. My goals don't lie too far off that path. When I think of Instructional Design, I see my tool to attaining my dream of entrepreneurship. I cannot say that I have laid down the exact floor plans, but I am working hard to establish the groundwork for that dream. It's not often that we get to pursue careers that enthrall our minds and keep us passionate from day to day. I know that what I am working towards will be exactly that.
