BIO (brief)

I am an American born in France (Paris), my first language was French, my family moved to England when I was six, I attended a French school for 12 years, I went to an American university, I worked as an editor for 16 years, I returned to school for a Master’s in English with the purpose of teaching composition at the college level. In the meantime, I (in no particular order) married, helped found a business, lost a father, had a child, got two dogs and lost one, bought a house, and gained two nieces. I made the right decision to return to school because I love teaching.
