History

I have just completed my doctorate in the History Department at George Mason University. I have studied the rise of print culture and Virginia origins of the First Amendment right to a free press. My major is American History, with minors in Early American history and the history of Media/Press. The specialty of the department is History and New Media. I am the former Electronic Journalism Coordinator and Visiting Assistant Professor in the Communication Department at GMU. I left to return to school.
