I am a Cultural Studies PhD candidate (ABD) at George Mason University. Currently, I am working on a dissertation on the cultural and political economy of Web 2.0.
Starting this Fall, I will be the Coordinator of the Writing Assistance Center at Northern Virginia Community College.
Also at Northern Virginia CC, I teach developmental writing and literature.
I've just completed two field statements: Marxist Political Economy and Science and Technology Studies.

In order to practice what I research, I've started a blog about researching the history, culture, and economics of the Web and Internet. Along with Kristin Scott, I will tackle the unique challenges researchers face as they look at social networks, wikis, and blogs. I hope it's helpful to other researchers looking at similar objects.
