My wife Vijayalakshmi (Vijaya) is presently employed as a Business data Analyst, at George Mason Admissions. Her previous experience was as a Coordinator: Statistical Research at the Research Data Center, Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute, University of South Florida (USF). She has developed expertise in SAS programming and statistical modeling. She is simultaneously pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at USF. She graduated from USF in 2003 with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and also has a Master's degree in Econometrics from India

She is the recipient of the 2004 USF Outstanding Masters Thesis Award. Her thesis titled "Time Series Intervention Analysis of Multi-Unit Increasing Failure Rate Systems for Maintenance Management" has been published in the International Journal of Reliability, Quality and Safety Engineering, Vol. 11(3),243-256, Sept. 2004.

She is also proficient in Indian Classical vocal music and teaches music in her free time.
