Here is a distribution of the grades in PHYS 242 for the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Fall semesters.  Plus and minus grades have been lumped together with each letter.  The grade “SA” means stopped attending, i.e., no final exam, and these are converted to F’s by the Registrar:
