In March 2008, 23 GMU Catholic Campus Students and 3 staff members attended an Alternative Spring Break trip in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity in Washington, PA.
The project house went to a deserving family, single-working mother with two small children.
One lesson learn was, “Although the products of labor seemed small, it made a difference for the love of the deserving family.”
The week consisted of:
-
•drywall mudding,
-
•sanding,
-
•building the front porch, and
-
•aluminum siding.
From the experience, you can see some select photos and the video presentation presented in April 2008 to the entire campus community.
