Friends of Daniels Run Park is an organization dedicated to maintaining the beauty and biological integrity of the largest forested park in Fairfax City.

We are initiating a stream restoration/stabilization project this spring on two tributaries of Daniels Run.  We will be needing volunteers to assist with planting material along the stream and installing branch packings and brush bundles along the stream banks.  We will be starting work with a major planting day on Saturday, April 10.  We will meet at Ashby Road crossing of Ashby Run (see map and directions below) at 8:45 am.
