Doctoral Fellowships in Conservation Science
Fellowship Details
- This
Fellowship Program will provide awardees with a 4-year package of
support
- Awardees will receive $18,000 in stipend and fellowship
support each year
- Tuition waiver for the hours noted below which should be
sufficient to complete the Ph.D. Degree
- Years 1 and 2
- enroll in 9
credit hours of classes per semester
- teach 2
introductory science lab sections per semester
- inititate
research activities under a National Zoological Park scientist (summers
will be a time of concentrated research activity)
- Years 3 and 4
- enroll in 3
credit hours of dissertation per semester
- immersion in
dissertation research under the direction of a National Zoological Park
scientist
