Future Applications and Research

   The possibilities of future research are endless. With each software program, the machine improves in order to further detect and treat illnesses. Endoscopy is painful and there are certain things that it can not captured on film such as blood arteries and veins. Virtual endoscopy would be an interesting topic to further explore to see how, for example, someone with leukemia can observe and understand their disease with the aid of scanners and more developed computers.
