There are three Co-chairs, a Treasurer, a Historian, a social awareness chair, and a Youth Resource Chair. The job of a Co-Chair is to lead the exec board, plan meetings, and help organize our events. The Treasurer plans the budget for Pride and our events, and secures the allocated money from Student Activities. The Historian keeps a history of our events and Pride by maintaining a scrapbook of pictures of the events that are held. The position of the Youth Outreach Chair is to get the high school students in the area interested in coming to Mason. Also, they make sure that the new freshmen on campus are aware of the existence of the Pride Alliance so that as allies and members of the community, they are welcome to come to the meetings and find new friends and be a part of a safe family community. The position of Social Awareness Chair is one that is in charge of getting National and Regional as well as local LGBTQ organizations involved with Pride Alliance and interested in co-sponsoring, funding, and working with our organization
