What's Going on in Your Neighborhood?
A study of the current gang threat in Northern Virginia and what we can do about it.
Some Scary Statistics: 1. Attorney General Jerry Kilgore announced that the Northern Va. community has identified at least 80 gangs that operate within the region. 2. There have been 11 killings by MS-13 in Northern Va. since 2003, 12 gang-related killings total. 3. Local authorities believe there are over 3,000 members of MS-13 in Northern Va. 4. Fairfax County police believe that there is a gang presence in every high school in the county. 5. Loudoun County police have stated that every area of the county has been infiltrated by gangs. |
