My Rules for Blogging

1. It's good to piss people off. That's the best way to get a response. Nobody reads about what they already know or think - that's boring!

2. The whole world can see what you write. Most people won't care, but don't ever put anything up that you wouldn't want your mother/significant other/future employer to see.

3. Don't write a book. You have a point, make it. If you don't have a point, don't write.

4. There is no deadline on your personal blog. If you don't have anything to say, don't worry about it. Wait for something to strike your interest.

5. Be nice to your reader. Make your font legible, don't use all CAPS, etc. That's simply pissing people off in the wrong way.
