Conclusion

Overall, it appears the Internet is helping the field of psychology. Dr. Kurt Salzinger shares this opinion. Salzinger (2003) really wants to make sure the international world knows that psychology is a science. He did his own research in Google and decided that overall, when you type “psychology” in the search field, you get good, science-based, results. In his mind, the World Wide Web is doing well for psychology. He wants people to help get the word out that good information about psychology is available online (p. 26). Because of the Internet, psychological research will continue to become more international. The knowledge gained from this research will hopefully become incorporated in classrooms all around the world. It is up to teachers to bring international psychology into their curriculums, and up to students to express an interest in learning about psychological phenomena from all types of people and cultures.
