Welcome
This is my webspace at George Mason University where I am affiliated as a researcher in the Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study and the Mercatus Center.
My most recent project with the Krasnow Institute has been a book for the Financial Times Press on what we are learning from neuroscience research about decision making. You can find out more about this book, Wired For Survival: The Rational (And Irrational) Choices We Make, From the Gas Pump To Terrorism, if you follow the link on this page.
In addition to my affiliation with the Krasnow Institute, I am working with the Financial Markets Working Group at the Mercatus Center on systemic risk issues, writing policy papers, and consulting in the Capitol Hill program. You will find links to these papers on this page.
My research interests are also aligned with colleagues in agent-based modeling at the Center for Social Complexity and experimental economics at the Center for the Study of Neuroeconomics and the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science.
The links and tabs on this page will provide more information about my projects and interests as well as connections to some superb resources.
