The picture of Harry S. Truman as an infant was taken in 1884, the year of his birth. I downloaded this picture in JPEG format.. Accesssion Number on the Library web site is 62-95.
I chose this picture because it showed signs of aging. There are small discolored spots in most of the lighter areas of the picture, particularly the face and the dress. The area on the left appeared to be faded and too white. There is a dark area below the baby’s hemline near the bottom left. Click here for larger original image
Here is the picture after I adjusted the colors just a little. I might use these colors instead.
