Try to find other sources of information about the same topic, with the goal of writing a research report. Bring your topic to class and be prepared to describe it orally. We will also look at an advance draft provided by a volunteer.

Personal stories are OK, but you have to describe them in the third person and from an unbiased viewpoint. Bring your topic to class and be prepared to describe it orally.
