BREAKING THE CHAINS

Colonialism can be considered as the paralysis or deviation or even the halting of the history of one people in favor of the acceleration of the historical development of other peoples.

When you control a man's thinking you do not have to worry about his actions. You do not have to tell him not to stand here or go yonder. He will find his proper place, and will stay in it. You do not need to send him to the back door. He will go without being told. In fact, if there is no back door he will cut one for his special benefit; his education makes it necessary.

BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

If someone told you that they just spent millions of dollars on something that doesn't work, you might consider them crazy. If someone were to tell you that they spent $50,000.00 of their hard earned money on a car that does not have the ability to drive; you might think them insane. In fact the mental ability or good sense of anyone would have to be questioned who would willingly and knowingly spend any amount of money (large or small) on something that does not work. It could be assumed that this would be an individual or organization which would be destined to failure because of the foolish allocation of the resource it needs to sustain operations.

With this in mind, if you witnessed major corporations (worth millions if not billions of dollars) spendiing millions of dollars per year on something, two things should come to mind. First, in order to become a major corporation they would have to be wise enough to understand the "financial game" and second, what the millions were spent on, would have to be worth more than the amount spent (otherwise, why spend a million to get a million; just keep the million you've got without the risk).

Each year we see major corporations spending billions of dollars (as a whole) on advertising. We cringe when we see companies spending millions of dollars on just a few seconds during the Superbowl, or NBA finals. Billions that are spent, just to influence or modify the behavior of consumers. Why do you think they do it? Put simply, because it has been proven to work. The idea that behavior can be changed and attitudes influenced has been studied and tested, and shown to have the desired effect in the final analysis.

Psychologist, Dr. Benson Cooke, explains it this way Images create Ideas which influence Behavior; or Images-->Ideas-->Behavior. What we see affects the way we think, which in turn impacts our behavior. This is why the corporations spend the billions, because there is a direct relationship in what is seen and what is done. If the masses of people can be impacted in significant numbers to behave in ways instructed, after relatively short periods of time, how much more influence would hundreds of years of behavior modification have on those whom it was directed at?

In his book Breaking the Chains of Psychological Slavery Dr. Naim Akbar states that:"slavery was legally ended in excess of 100 years ago, but over 300 years experienced in it's brutality and unnaturalness constituted a severe psychological shock to the minds of African Americans. This shock was so destructive to natural life processes that the current generations of Africasn Americans, although we are five or six generations removed from the actual experience of slavery, still carry the scars of this experience" (p. 3).

It is common knowledge that most animals defend, protect, respect, and maintain their communities, territory or homes. This is because, even the animals understand that there must be a solid base from which to build, toward progress. To do otherwise, is to become vulnerable to the forces that prey on those who are weak. So, what then could be said about the human who does not defend, protect, respect, or maintain their communities or homes? It could be said that these would be a people who either did not understand the value of community and home, or they did not care about it.

Within existence, there are certain laws or principles which govern existence. One particular principle is that all things must remain connected to that from which it comes. To do otherwise is to disconnect from that which sustains its life. On this the third stone from the sun (earth) there are trees which have been in existence for hundreds of years. They have grown tall and strong extending from the soil, reaching towards the clouds. But, as strong as they are, if at any point they become disconnected from the soil; with all of its strength it will not exist for much longer. This is because it has become seperated from that which sustains its existence. In the bodies of water on this the third stone from the sun, there are various types of fish in the waters. Some of those fish have grown and adapted such that even man must fear and resect what they have become. No matter what the adaptation, if at some point those fish becomes disconnected from the water; with all of their adaptation most (except for a few that have mutated to survive on land) will not exist much longer. This is because they have become seperated from that which sustains their existence. The human being is no different. We too have a source from which we come, that sustains our existence. If at any point we become disconnected from that source, then we too will experience a form of death (spiritual, mental, etc.). Many have become disconnected. This is in evidence based upon the standard, and quality of life they live. This has little to do with the possessions they have or where they live, but rather how they live. When constant expolration the outer boundaries of the imagination is required just to find something to produce pleasure; then a re-evaluation is in order.

Where and how resources required to provide sustenance are allocated is an indicator of the mind of those doing the allocation. To allocate resources to that which serves little purpose for existence is the same as the example above; the work of those whose mind should be questioned. To allocate resources toward items which are valued less than what is spent, should also raise some questions. As stated above; those who become major financial players, do so by understanding the "financial game". When we look at the founding fathers we see a collection of entrepreneurs and land owners. Thus the greatest benefits or freedoms are extended to those groups (another example of a group staying connected to that which sustained its way of living). If we take a careful look at the laws, and tax structure, property and business provide the greatest access to financial resources (in the financial game; this is where the action is). So when you see individuals who spend excess amounts of financial resources than was necessary (i.e the Lexus/Acura/Infinity/Mercedes/BMW/blah blah blah) yet don't own property and/or business; you are looking at someone who really does not understand the "financial game". When you see individuals spend excess amounts of financial resources to promote the name of others (who usually have not even had the decency to do for the consumer what the consumer is doing for them) when they have not taken the time to secure their own name; you are looking at a person who does not understand the "financial game". This type of behavior robs the individual, and everyone coneected to that individual who relies on the contributions of that individual of the vital resources necessary for progress. So what would make an individual, do for other what tey won't do for themself? What would cause an individual to deviate from the principles of existence?

As stated in the quote earlier (Dr.Carter G. Woodson), when you control a mans education/thinking, you can control his actions. When people act in ways which are contraditory to the principles of existence, then an alternative existence has been introduced and adopted. The question becomes, what is the alternative existence, and where did it come from?
