This course covers topics
including the molecular and cellular biology of the immune response and
the immunological mechanisms as they pertain to immunological diseases
and transplantation. It is taught in the Spring semesters of even numbered
years. This course will next be offered SPRING
2004.

Immunology (or equivalent)
COURSE
GOALS:
-
To comprehensively investigate
immunological mechanisms as they pertain to immunological disease, cancer
and transplantation.

To be able to read, analyze and
discuss recently published scientific articles pertaining to the topics
covered during the lecture protion of the class.
-
To be able to make an oral presentation
on a topic pertaining to the molecule and/or cellular biology of the immune
response.
