This course is designed as a one semester introductory immunology laboratory course that is the companion to the immunology lecture course (BIOL452). It is taught in the Fall and Spring semesters.  This course is not required, except for Medical Technology majors. 
BIOL453 can be taken at the same time as BIOL452, however, you may elect to take BIOL453 after completing (BIOL452) but you can not take BIOL453 without BIOL452.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES:
The following courses must be completed before taking this course - NO EXCEPTIONS!

BIOL213:   Cell Structure and Function
BIOL305 and 306:   Biology of Microorganisms (Lecture and Laboratory)
BIOL311:   General Genetics
