Welcome!

I am a tenured Associate Professor in the Information Sciences and Technology Department, in the School of Computing, College of Engineering, at George Mason University. I am also affiliated with the Computer Science Department.

I am Co-Director of the Personalized Learning with Artificial Intelligence Technologies (PLAIT) lab and member of the Future of Finance Lab. Previously, I was the Associate Director of the Learning Agents Center for over 15 years (currently closed - link to archived content).

I love mentoring students and helping them achieve their academic and professional goals. Currently, I am advising 5 PhD students. In the last 3 years, 2 PhD students have graduated.
