The Pastor of the New Second Rising Mount Carmel Holistic Baptist Church announced his retirement 1 year ago. Some members want to vote in Rev. Sidney Bernard, who was the Assistant to the Pastor for several years, and who has served as Acting Pastor for the last year. The church is divided because some don’t think he’s qualified. A special church meeting is called to discuss this dilemma and to let the church members voice their opinions.
