Rev. Bernard stands and thanks the PSC for their consideration, but he has decided to withdraw his name from the ballot.  He is stunned by the lack of Christianity displayed this evening and needs to go in the study and pray about this situation and all the ugliness he witnessed. He goes into the study, closes the door and falls on his knees. “Why is this happening God? What are you trying to show me? What is the lesson here?” God speaks to Rev. Bernard and explains that He wants His children to love one another as He has loved them. He wants His children to forgive.  He has designated this branch of Zion for Rev. Bernard to exhibit these things. Go forth and lead this flock as I have directed you.  Rev. Bernard runs back to the sanctuary.  “Wait, don’t vote yet! I changed my mind!”  The voting had not begun yet and once Rev. Bernard explained about having a talk with God and what He had said, almost everyone voted for him and he won by a landslide.
