I have lived in most areas of the United States. I grew up in St. Louis, then lived in Iowa, Illinois, Texas, Indiana, California, Oregon, New York, Georgia, Utah, and now Virginia! I enjoyed all these locations, for different reasons, but the most significant are Illinois (where my daughters were born) and Oregon (where I bloomed). Now I love Fairfax, VA.
I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to know me is by discovering what I like. So here goes . . .
- I love to garden, read, exercise and am trying to find time to visit every museum in the DC area.
- I like movies - and most types of music, especially going to hear live music and dancing.
- I also love to travel, and some of my favorite experiences have been on trips to other countries. Recently I have been to Egypt, Turkey, Greece, England, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Nepal and Spain. Whew!
My dog tries hard to keep me somewhat balanced. Here she is:
