also rhythm and blues, country western, contemporary Christian and
other types of popular music. Classical singers have won scholarships
to the Eastman School of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, Westminster
Choir College, Peabody Conservatory, University of Maryland, Yale
School of Drama, and other prestigious schools, and perform
professionally. Popular singers enjoy success with their bands,
recording, and international touring. 1984 - present
