In this course we examine a variety of
theoretical frameworks within in which we measure human behavior and
human impacts related to outdoor environments (e.g. National Parks,
Forests, etc.). For example, we discuss the concepts of Carrying Capacity, Limits of Acceptable Change, Crowding, and Vandalism. We also consider concerns related to Sustainability globally and locally as we discuss human impacts on natural places. |
