        Course Syllabus

Students learn a variety of leadership skills (e.g. teambuilding, trust, confidence) in experiential settings. Throughout the semester we use the outdoor environment to discuss the wide variety of activities that can be explored in physical education, health, sport, recreation, and tourism contexts.

We also spend several days at the Hemlock Center for Experiential Education. Students enjoy building their leadership skills there. They also learn new skills or get to further develop their skills in activities such as canoeing and orienteering.
