Leave No Trace ethics is a way of living, and a way of interacting with our environment in order to sustain it for future generations. We let the following seven principles guide our activities:

Plan Ahead and Prepare

Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces

Minimize Campfire Impacts

Be Considerate of Other Visitors

Dispose of Waste Properly

Leave What You Find

Respect Wildlife

As the Virginia Leave No Trace State Advocate, I can provide materials to support any Leave No Trace programs you offer. In addition, I keep in regular contact with the Trainers and Master Educators located in Virginia. Should you need training, I can share your request statewide.

For more information on Leave No Trace, check out the national website at http://www.lnt.org.
