Statement of Purpose - I have a real problem with the question why. This semester I have been strolling along making web pages, but I didn't really know why. The "civic problem" Ulmer talked about eluded me. I knew that I wanted to explore the concepts of hypertext as a representation of associative thinking patterns - how our minds literally jump from one thought to the next guided by strands that may only have a minor connection to one another.....
