Kevin J. Fandl

Kevin Fandl is an attorney and a doctoral student with an interest in international trade law and policy, economic development and Latin America.  He applies an inter-disciplinary approach to his research, using the established precepts of international trade law, contract law and international law, and combining them with the functional tools of economic theory and development.  His primary regional interest is Latin America and, more specifically, Colombia, where he lived and taught for one-year under a Fulbright grant.

Kevin is presently completing his PhD at George Mason University's School of Public Policy with a dissertation examining the relationship between law and the informal labor market in Latin America.  He is also an adjunct professor of law at the American University Washington College of Law, where he teaches courses on International Trade and Development Law, International Trade and Intellectual Property as well as Advanced Legal Writing.

Kevin lives in Washington, D.C., with his beautiful wife and daughter.
