In conclusion, the Internet has changed how the medical field operates. From making appointments online to ordering and re-filling prescriptions online, the Internet has taken much of the hassle and time consumption out of these operations.According to Jupiter Media Metrix, in 2000, 75% of Internet users had searched online for health and medical information and in all likelihood that number has grown in the past two years.
However, as usual, you must be cautious of the information you receive over the Internet. You must always assess a Web sites' credibility in order to confirm the information you are receiving is accurate, and never let the ease of the Internet keep you from visiting your doctor regularly.
