Today, instead of having to call your doctor's office during business hours to set up an appointment time you can do it online at several different sites. All you have to do in most cases is fill out a short form online requesting the most convenient time for you to schedule your appointment.

Kaiser Permanente offers a service that allows their members to make doctors appointments any time, day or night, online. Members receive a response to their request within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

Some examples of other sites that offer online booking of doctor's appointments include: University of California Irvine Medical Center, and St. Alexius Prime Care. Making doctor's appointments online eliminates the hassle of trying to reach your doctor's office. In this case, the doctor's office contacts you after you send your request.
