Summary

This essay disclosed the function, current and future uses, information security and the ethical, legal, and social implications regarding autonomous vehicles. An autonomous vehicle, also known as a self-driving car, is a vehicle with the ability to drive and move safely with little or no human input by sensing its surroundings. Often the subject of debate, self-driving cars are brought up between the ideas that technology could either be abused or revolutionary in the future. Throughout the essay, it is explained how as technology expands throughout the world, self-driving cars will become the future mode of transportation universally. Self-driving cars hold many benefits, and once the technologies involved in autonomous vehicles are optimal, they may be used as a universal mode of seamless transportation.
