Keith Olbermann: Death of Habeas Corpus
Just listen to it...this is insane.
Sorry about the long delay in a new post...mostly just been busy and forgetful. I'll give the news in bullet points:
I have just updated to the new version of Blogger. Hope it works!
(i figured that was better than saying "test message")
Well, going back to work has sure been a trip. The store is super busy and I love getting to sell stuff instead of stand around and work stock all the time. I do have to open tomorrow at 7 though :(
I won't be a keyholder this time, but there's still so much to do that it all works out. I made a 700 dollar sale yesterday and sold 3,000 dollars worth of stuff today. Pretty incredible numbers. That's more like what our entire store made on some summer days. Just crazy.
Kate is still awesome...I'll be getting the webcam soon (i left it at mason and she's mailing it to me), and then I can actually see her.
What's everybody else up to on their break!
Hey Everybody!
It looks like I'm off to my home town of Richmond pretty soon. Today actually. It's been a while since I blogged, but that's ok because not much has happened. I'm sure I did some interesting stuff somewhere but it's mostly been overshadowed by my rather difficult exams. In studying for Botany I was part of a 9.5 hour study group (with a one hour break for dinner, admittedly). I don't think the study for that one helped much though honestly...
Hmmm, also, if i didn't mention it before, my wonderful girl, Kate, made me a scarf! Hurray for having a scarf. (And it looks nice too!)
Today I'm leaving mid day for home. I get to go back to Orvis and work a full week at least. It'll be nice to see the store full of people for once...summer was a little slow at times. When I went back to visit during thanksgiving it was really busy though, so that's good. Also I will once again wield the folding box cutter!
I will miss Kate...:( The only good news is that I've now got Skype videochat down to a science so she won't seem quite so far away.
