Homework for Monday, February 11, 2002:  Talk to a native English speaker.  Ask for the name of a famous Native American.  Why is this person famous?  Be ready to tell the class what you learned.

Homework for Wednesday, February 13, 2002:  Read the story "How Grandmother Spider Stole the Sun."  Look up any new vocabulary.  Be ready to discuss in class.

Homework for Monday, February 18, 2002:  Go to the Native American links page and visit the links to Native American proverbs.  Select a proverb and write it down.  Try to explain the proverb in a short paragraph.  Be ready to discuss in class.

Homework for Wednesday, February 20, 2002:  Read the article "Eagles and the Hopi."   Look up any new vocabulary.  What is the significance of the eagle?  Be ready to discuss in class.
