Annual Beach Trip
"Too many people.  Cap it off at 12, maybe even 10 next year.
"Thank you for putting on such a great beach trip.  You continue to impress me with your organizational skills.  I'm not sure if I know anyone else who could have not only planned a trip for 27 people, but also had the ability to pull it off in such a smooth manner.  Thank you also for the great meals, and friendship in general.
To every one else, it was great to see those of you who I have'nt seen in a while, and equally great to meet some new people.  Rarely, if ever do you get this many people together without having some type of personality conflict.  But on this trip, everyone turned out to be great.  I definitely can't wait till next years trip.  Oh yeah, I want to send a special thanks to Alex and Tim, for dealing with not only my quirkiness, (is that a word????) but my singing in the car trip down and back.  Believe me guys, the pain you endured from my singing is not even half of what they had to go through.  I hope everyone enjoyed the trip as much as I did, and I look forward to seeing everyone again.
Take care of yourselves, and be good."

"Completely ditto for me on marc's comment - you did a fabulous job this weekend.
Thanks for planning and inviting me!!!  :)"

"How wonderful this trip turned out.  I had such a good time.  I thought you did such a good job of pulling the nicest bunch of people together.  But that is not all! Collectively, the food, the house, the impeccable planning and thoughtfulness that went into assuring our comfort all added to the perfect trip.  I've been smiling for two days just thinking about all the laughs and fun.  Especially the HOT Tub and the mere fact that we were able to squeeze 9 people in at once.  I keep thinking of all the water sloshing over the sides as we passed our shots around.  It was nice to escape the hassles of everyday, but even nicer to luck out and meet and make all these new friends.  Johanna, I thank you for inviting me, the weekend couldn't have been any better.  Please pass my note along to the others.  I want them to know how much fun I had."

Cirque Du Soleil
"I went 2 years ago to see Quidam and it was awesome.  It was art in motion.
The music, movements, and costume give the show an ambiance of ancient times in a futuristic era.
Strange, quirky, beautiful, mystifical. Go see it!!!"

"Sure, most people go to the circus to see the horses, elephants, and lion. To even think of a circus without
animals makes one yawn, but the performers of CirqueDu Soleil will astound you. You'll even wonder if they
are human as you watch their fantastic routines. Even the costumes will leave you flabbergasted. The
attention to detail, cut, style, and color is remarkable. It is the only circus that you will attend
and want to buy the soundtrack. There is even a storyline with each show Cirque Du Soleil produces.
They are in such demand that some major resorts (for example, Walt Disney World Resort, Florida; The
Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV; and Treasure Island, Las Vegas, NV) have bent over backwards to attract
permanent productions of Cirque Du Soleil. You are in for a treat if you are among the few lucky people to
have bought tickets for this tour of Dralion, the latest touring production. If you would like more
information visit their website at http://www.cirquedusoleil.com."
