Illustration of Colors in HTML

The following table shows the coding for an RGB color scheme. The first byte is for red, the next for green, and the last for blue.

View the source in your browser.

In the Internet Explorer browser, click on "View" and then on "Source"
In the Google Chrome browser, click on "menu" symbol, then on "More tools", and then on "View source"

Look at the source, and notice the "font color" settings; they are in hex.

For example, in the first entry the color for the font to print the word "black" is #000000 and in the second entry the color for the font to print the word "red" is #FF0000.

Notice the last entry; the "color" is white, and the word "white" does not appear because the font has a color of #FFFFFF.
