Textbook: Advanced Engineering Mathematics by E. Kreyszig, 9th Edition, John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 2006: Chapter 5 and Chapter 12.
Description of the course from the university catalog: Prerequisite: Math 214 or 216. Series solutions of differential equations, Bessel and Legendre equations, Sturm-Liouville problems, and partial differential equations.
